What is SCR technology?

SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) is a technology used by diesel vehicles to reduce NOx (nitrogen dioxide)-type gas emissions.SCR or Selective Catalytic Reduction technology is used by diesel vehicles to treat exhaust gases. SCR allows nitrogen oxides to be converted by means of a catalyst to steam and nitrogen by using AdBlue® in a tank that is independent from the diesel tank.
